v0.9 - Game Over, ReimaginedPre-launch
Veatris is more than an arcade game. It is a small allegory of survival.
- The falling blocks, in all their shapes, embody the physical pressure and stress the world hurls at us. You defend against them with sharp reflexes and the foresight granted by the "next block" preview - reacting and predicting, moment by moment.
- But the world is never made of simple problems alone. The letter capsules that slip between the blocks and join the assault stand for something subtler: the difficulty of complex relationships, the limits of our knowledge, and the countless riddles we have yet to solve.
- Day after day, we wrestle with the world's physical, mental, and emotional burdens - enduring them, overcoming them, and growing into the next stage of ourselves.
- Veatris, a name as hopeful as the world we long to build, is a survival game about exactly that: blocking, dodging, and untangling the countless weights and hardships we must push through to reach the life we want.
- Aquarium finale. When a run ends, the field collapses and water rises to fill the screen, and a school of fish drifts across the wreckage - a quiet moment of calm after the struggle.
